gener8tor Partners with Indiana Economic Development Corporation on 5G Technology and Energy & Sustainability startup accelerators
INDIANAPOLIS - Global venture firm and startup accelerator, gener8tor, in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, kicked off the gBETA 5G Technology and gBETA Energy & Sustainability cohorts in March. The gBETA accelerator focuses on early-stage companies with the potential to grow in Indiana. See details about the selected companies at the end of this release.
gener8tor gBETA is a free seven-week, no-equity accelerator program that provides startup founders with intensive concierge coaching and access to its national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors. The programs are designed to set a path for startups to participate in equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities.
Ty Tjoelker, director for gBETA Energy & Sustainability, and Davide Dantonio, program manager for 5G Technology, interviewed and selected startups from a competitive pool of applicants locally and nationwide in an effort to support homegrown companies while also introducing startups to the resources available in Indiana. Programming will be held at 16 Tech and The Heritage Group.

Together, gener8tor and the IEDC aim to bring economic diversity and job growth to Indiana.

Founders from the 5G Technology cohort will pitch at gener8tor’s Manufacturing Conference in October in Indianapolis.

DigsFact’s AI solution enables remote assessment of properties for maintenance, repair and construction for the property insurance and home improvement industries. DigsFact analyzes real-time insights from interior or exterior photos to detect building materials, early signs of damages and on-demand measurements enabling accelerated estimation of property
repair as well as preventive care.
DigsFact has total revenue of $270,000 since December 2020 from pilot projects and signed a partnership agreement with CoreLogic with an expected $1M ARR.

DiversiFind’s web-based SaaS platform supports companies and their DEI goals by diversifying their vendor pool. DiversiFind connects traditionally under-represented vendors and those who hire them through an online platform. The community includes the ability to advertise projects and jobs, get certified and track analytics.
DiversiFind has added 15 diverse suppliers to the platform since launch in January 2023.

Vertikal X’s platform accelerates the careers of underserved athletes by connecting them with coaches, scouts, investors and brands who want to support their athletic pursuits with accountability. The proprietary “VTX Score” algorithm considers four key components: education, social media impact, training and athletic performance. By leveraging AI and MLtechnologies, the VTX score is able to identify promising athletes and provide them with the funding and resources they need to succeed.
Vertikal X team has negotiated and closed sponsorships and partnerships valued at more than $250K with international brands and sports academies. Currently in pre-launch, the MVP is being tested on 100 athletes in different sports (1Q 2023).

PROSPECT XR’s patented SaaS platform envisions a new model of work with a decentralized leadership and promotion structure. In this system, employees' work and contributions are judged by their peers using PROSPECT XR's easy-to-install bot. The bot quantifies employees' work quality and engagement with reputation points. Then, admins or leaders can leverage that data to determine voting and decision-making rights within the team or community. In exchange, admins pay PROSPECT XR a monthly subscription or partial
ownership (via tokens).
Prospect XR currently is in beta testing across three communities with about 6000 users total. Prospect XR also has agreements to be used in five communities.

HomeHealthPRO has generated over $1,250 in revenue since launch in Q4-2022 with 142+ patient visits conducted via 44 client agencies. The app has 2,000+ downloads and the website has over 12,500 visits.

FlexEnergy batteries have capacities in the range from 10 mAh -1000 mAh which can be used in military and medical applications. FlexEnergy’s batteries can be seamlessly integrated with next generation wearables and flexible electronics that currently available Li-ion battery technologies cannot provide.
Several prototypes have been tested successfully for flexibility up to 90 degrees and 3 wash cycles and are ready for consumer trials.

Algaeo, LLC creates systems that turn single use plastic containers into algae bioreactors. Algaeo focuses on air purification, carbon

Algaeo’s technology enhances aerators that provide atmospheric carbon dioxide and nitrogen directly into the algae growth environment making it possible for farmers to grow sustainable fertilizers and increase their revenue through carbon credit.
Algaeo has captured a total revenue of $50,000 from grants and income. Our technology
