gener8tor gBETA Anchorage Startup Accelerator Welcomes Fourth Cohort
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Global venture firm and startup accelerator, gener8tor, kicked off the fourth gBETA Anchorage cohort in September. The gBETA accelerator focuses on early-stage companies working in Alaska. See details about the selected companies at the end of this release.
gener8tor gBETA is a free seven-week, no-equity accelerator program that provides startup founders with intensive concierge coaching and access to its national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors. The programs are designed to set a path for startups to participate in equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities.
gener8tor recruited startups around the state for the gBETA program in an effort to support homegrown companies.
"The world is changing fast, and it is more important than ever for Alaska to diversify our business mix and support the creation of new companies and innovation in the state," said Mark Lambert, gBETA Anchorage mentor-in-residence. “It’s amazing to witness the impact that the gBETA Anchorage program is having on growing new businesses that will play a key part in Alaska's future jobs and local communities."
“We couldn’t be more excited to work with another five Alaskan companies and to help founders navigate the challenges that early-stage innovative and scalable companies face along their growth journey,” said Linda Janes, gBETA Anchorage director. “Since we launched the program in April 2021, we are already seeing the incredible economic impact that the gBETA Anchorage alumni bring to our state, and we’re excited for the future.”
At the end of the gBETA program, startup founders will pitch their companies to investors, community partners and the public at a showcase event on Nov. 18, 2022 (time and location to be announced).
Startup companies and founders interested in learning more about gBETA’s programming and resources or applying to a future program are encouraged to visit the gener8tor gBETA website.
