Five Justice Tech-based Startups Selected for Accelerator

gener8tor and American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact welcome the inaugural gBETA Social Impact Justice Tech alumni cohort

MADISON, Wis. - Five Justice Tech-based companies have been selected to participate in a national startup accelerator program. The selected companies FiftyOne AI, Driven, Untapped Solutions, CivicSync, and Layman will participate in the gBETA Social Impact Justice Tech program through national venture capital firm gener8tor.

gBETA Social Impact is a free seven-week accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.

gener8tor is a dedicated partner in the growth and development of its portfolio companies and has designed this program to be tailored specifically for taking each of these companies to the next stage of development.

The program is made possible by a partnership with the American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact.

At the end of the gBETA program, the startup founders will pitch their companies to investors, community partners and the public at a showcase event with details to come.

gBETA Fall 2024 Cohort

FiftyOne AI is an advocacy tool designed to help changemakers and organizations close the justice gap. By using artificial intelligence to analyze complex legal and social data, FiftyOne AI enables advocacy organizations to identify key issues, drive campaigns, and make faster, smarter decisions. The company has secured investment from Dream.org and is supported by AI expert Noelle Russell, as well as civil rights attorney Justin Moore, recognized for his work in criminal justice reform.

Driven is a digital platform that simplifies traffic fine management and payment. Offering customizable payment plans through an intuitive interface, Driven reduces the financial burden of fines for individuals while helping municipalities collect revenue more efficiently. The company is in the process of securing paid pilots with multiple municipalities.

Untapped Solutions uses AI and machine learning to connect justice-impacted individuals and underserved communities with employment opportunities and essential services. Its CRM platform simplifies case management for nonprofits, government agencies, and organizations by integrating job boards, social service referrals, and community support. Untapped Solutions has generated over $200,000 in lifetime revenue and is serving more than 25 customers with multiple paid pilots.

CivicSync offers an AI-powered market research platform that simulates consumer behavior using digital twins. This technology allows businesses to conduct real-time market research and gain deep insights into consumer trends. CivicSync has secured strategic partnerships with organizations like Ogilvy Paris, enabling it to work with major brands like Burger King and Galp Energy.

Layman is an AI-powered legal research platform designed to make civil legal processes accessible to everyone.
