Collecting art can be overwhelming, scary and unnecessarily difficult. gener8tor Art seeks to demystify the art collecting process and cultivate new art collectors to support artists. Our art collector resources consist of informational sessions and webinars about collecting art, covering topics such as buying art as an investment, art collecting strategies, tips for supporting local artists and art communities, and how to support the values of social justice and equity within an art collection.

Art Collector Resources
An Introduction to the Art Market
Each webinar will be led by a speaker that explains different aspects of the art market or varied collecting strategies. In addition to webinars, participants in the series will also benefit from artist and gallery talks, where they can learn more about specific artists and gain opportunities to begin collecting their work.
The goal of this program is to educate potential art collectors about how to collect art responsibly, as well as to provide art collectors with the tools to build collections that have social impact and reflect their values. This series encourages collectors to support their local art communities by getting to know local artists, and facilitating the buying of art directly from artists, or local galleries. This program is intended for individuals who are new to art collecting, or experienced art collectors who are interested in developing their art collecting strategies.
